A hood is required for any cooktop regardless of a stove or not. Both produce heat, smoke, and grease. So a vent that goes outside is preferred. A full stove is a one-piece unit. So it is less expensive and only requires 1 electric line. If you go to a cooktop with a wall oven under it. Then you are limited on models, as well as the counter has to have a cutout and a base cabinet to support the wall oven. Many people like the look of two pieces, but I find a single stove will offer so many more choices and features.

If you are talking like an LG, that has the door in the door glass. That is just warm soapy water, and I like to use ammonia-free cleaning agents past that specifically for glass.

You should run the tub clean twice a month, the manufacturer usually would tell you to run a cycle of bleach, but I like to throw afresh cleaning tabs in the tub as well.

So if you are looking for a built-in vs. a counter-depth, look at the Dacor smart fridge. It has cameras inside, so when you’re food shopping, you can literally look at the inside of the fridge on your smartphone. If just a regular counter depth French door, I would move you to the GE cafe.

The drain is probably clogged up. So needs defrosting, and if it’s packed with food, it’s not a good way to do it but empty it out. If you can physically see the drain hold take a large Phillips head screwdriver and heat it up with a torch or burner etc. Then when hot, press it into that spot, and it will at least melt the ice into the drain to alleviate some of the jam. The best way of course, is to just get some coolers to move the food and defrost it.
