You know I wonder myself here The line really never seemed to gain any traction and that makes me nervous for the future of it. Often times brands will just disband or roll it into LG core then its just a waste. I am not a fan of SKS at the moment until it becomes mainstream. My advice is to stick to a Sub , Therm even Jenn Air for now as parts and service will be there for the foreseeable future. To expensive to take a gamble on a new line.
Great question. Personally I like the knob control better over the flat panel So if wifi wasnt as important to you save the $800 yes the profile is sleeker etc but $800 is a big spread..
Rangetop is the best option as the controls are on the face so you have ample room. If not an option the Wolf Contemporary is a great choice as the knobs are moves to the counter face as well but it still drops into the counter.
I also really like the Thermador with the star burners seems to be a popular model.
