So yes, the lower-profile microwaves, I think, are worth it. Not only do they save space, but they also work really well. They are a little deeper, so take that into consideration. But counter space is a premium. So it’s so nice to get the micro over the stove when you can.

A great brand for budget appliances is Frigidaire. Particularly in the Gallery series. They make many options, and all are fingerprint-free finishes. They will give the most features for the lowest price. Great brand when on a budget.

The best is prob the GE. At this point, none like that are of as high quality as the front load style ones. GE is probably the best for reliability in this type of machine like the GUD27ESSMWW

Stainless steel seems to be going nowhere as fewer and fewer companies are making white these days. Some manufactures discontinued it altogether.

That’s really unfair and not right. First of all, shame on that big box for having crappy installers as they usually do. This is why I push smaller independent stores. Frigidaire has a 30-day cosmetic warranty, not 48 hours, so they’re wrong.

    right from their website:
Cosmetic claims are only covered for the first 30 days of ownership.
A chip in the porcelain on the outside can be painted over with touch-up paint. If inside the oven, it will get worse over time. You need to call Home Depot or your credit card company to dispute it and protect yourself.

Yes, I have had a few complaints of just that. The best thing to do is, before you go away, purge the line a little by running a few glasses of water. Sometimes the air in the line will push drops off the water out. I had a few customers mention the same issue to me.

You can call in service to evaluate it and see of worth repairing or buying a new one.
