So aesthetics is important and of course so is function. I have no issue with the XO hood it goes to 600cfm. It really depends on your cooking and lifestyle, if you tell me your going to be frying a ton or cooking a lot of ethnic foods I get it a 1200cfm full width coverage may be needed but if your not cooking like that the600cfm xo is fine. I would just utilize the heavier smoky cooking for the middle burners. I have a 1200 that is run on low or medium 90% of the time and we cook. Wolf is a great stove and a really modern looking hood that I think is great. Go for it!
So these are accessories that are required for the installation, some stores sell them and others rely on the plumber to provide. I like that they offered them to you as it shows they are trying to provide you with what you need to put them in and worst case if you don’t you can return them but better to have on site than running around to home center looking for them day of install. Some stores will not even offer installation without these as they want new reliable hoses and fittings when replacing units. Great appliance list by the way!!
So Hotpoint is the lower end value line of GE but the GE label itself is the most popular seller. They make many more model choices and features under the GE name.
Does not need to be on an outside wall but you should always vent it to the outside, most towns require it as a code and byproducts of gas can be dangerous to your health. I would never use gas cooking that isn’t vented outside personally it is a health concern.
