    Thermador is an excellent brand and  I recommend it. I personally use Thermador fridge columns and Dishwasher in my own home. They really make some of the better hi end appliances on the market. I would recommend them.

    What is the model # as some units have the auto load sensing and  not a deep fill over ride.  I am wondering if the load sensing is an issue here.

    Its kind of tricky it can be done but use a putty knife that plastic is snapped in so can crack easily.

    Clicking compressor is a sure sign of an overload the compressor is on its way out. Makes that noise usually when it’s dying a slow death. Unfortunately, time to replace it. Sorry!

    Wow that’s so tough but if I were to pick one I would pick the KitchenAid. Many people will say what??  But I do still like the pro dry system the larger interior space and the heavier duty racks. I feel the Bosch is a great unit but the KitchenAid can take more of a beating.  Thanks for asking!

    Some do have recessed vent areas but they usually do that to add a bigger drum, the best bet is to get a telescopic duct vent or the mag vent that will line itself up with the help of a magnet making install a breeze and helping unit sit flusher.  Most manufactures ask for 4-6″ of clearance behind it for the unit to breathe properly.
