I have a 15 years old General Electric refrigerator that is cooling just fine, but the relay attached to the compressor was making loud clicking noises and was burned out so I replaced it, and also replaced the capacitor that is attached to the relay.

The clicking noise did not go away; Every hour or so it clicks two or three times; The refrigerator is still working but Iam afraid it may stop working; any suggestions please??

Clicking compressor is a sure sign of an overload the compressor is on its way out. Makes that noise usually when it’s dying a slow death. Unfortunately, time to replace it. Sorry!
