The budget is healthy, but Wolf will probably throw it too high. Two options, one being a full-GE cafe package, has a great pro look at a lower price point, and you will be right in budget and Kitchen Aid as well. So those two for midline a 3rd one comes to mind if your local store handles Thermador they now have a counter depth fridge based on the Bosch 800 series, it is a builder package, and it is also around 9-12k with all their current promotions take a look at that as an upgrade option, it is called the leap into luxury promotion.

The best is kind of tough, as there are some really good units out there but when you add a trim kit to the equation this unit from LG with inverter technology, led lighting inside to make the unit nice and bright, easy-clean interior, and a 6 point turntable for sturdiness. It kind of stands alone, they do make a 30″ trim kit for it. The unit has a quick start every press is 30 seconds at high power. It’s a great microwave!

Technically yes, it is generally required by all local town codes as gas byproducts can be harmful if not vented properly. Sometimes I run into older houses where they never even had an outside vent at all. Always good to have one above. Even in the event of a stove fire, it will act as a fire barrier. Also, just as an air quality factor, I would suggest using one.

Don’t hate the playa hate the stove! I totally get it. I really do like the new LG stoves, but if you want a good unit at a fair price, totally look at the Frigidaire lineup. Great value for induction. Loaded with features like air fry, it’s one of the best for the least today with great reviews.

Great unit with some awesome attachments. It was off the market for a while due to the parts shortages. If you can find one, it’s an excellent unit. Sold a couple, and the customers did like it a lot. I will say the Cafe French door from GE is not far off, so compare the prices on the two. The French door is a baker’s dream.

So, for me, the range is determined by the type of ventilation above. Self-cleaning is not offered in many pro ranges unless you opt for dual fuel. I would do the Wolf all gas and keep it simple. It’s a good, reliable range with little to no electronics for the tenant to break. Easy to clean sealed burner top. The all-gas does not feature self-clean, but it won’t be an issue if the oven is not used that often. If the time frame is an issue, look for a Bosch all-gas slide-in. They are more readily available, and the price point will be much lower, and it will also match the other units.

24″ is a smaller size and very few made as you may see, it’s great for a space saver but won’t work well as like a toaster function. The KitchenAid is a very good unit in the 24″ just takes a while to heat up with Fisher Paykel prob being one of the best, but they are better off looking maybe at a speed oven? In a 24″ that would toast better as it will have the element needed Miele makes a few. The best overall option if not mounted too high, is the Sharp SMD2499 air fry, toaster, microwave all in one unit. It pulls out like a drawer so needs to be mounted at a proper height for use, but really will function more like a toaster if they seek that. https://shop.sharpusa.com/24-in-built-in-smart-convection-microwave-drawer-oven-smd2499fs/
