We have exceptionally hard water. We don’t drink it, but it is drinkable. Our dishwasher only lasted 2 years and we are purchasing a new one. Would a water softener help our appliances last longer?
100% yes look for that feature specifically. I have a lot of customers with the same issue and a DW with a water softener successfully prolonged their DW life. You should consider a whole house water softener unit as well.
