What fridge is recommended for an eco friendly household?

      I am looking to purchase a new fridge for my parents since their old one started failing. Is there any particular one you could recommend that would be on the more eco friendly side ?

      So, eco-friendly is also an energy star unit like Fisher Paykel is an excellent brand for efficiency and eco-friendly production. But, if you want to go one step above and beyond. Check out the Liebherr brand! not only is it efficient. I visited their factory about 10 years ago, and it was a green as green could get could only imagine what they are doing now. Very eco-friendly company. Tons of recycled materials are used in their products and in the manufacturing process.
