Is it true that I should run my dishwasher occasionally to keep the seals working? I don’t use my dishwasher very often because it’s an older one and doesn’t work very well. But a friend said that I should run it once a month or so to make sure the seals are good. Is that true?
Yes, you need to keep those seals from drying out. If that happens, they will rot out and potentially leak. Run some cleaning tabs once or twice a month, and you will be ok! Just don’t let it sit too long without running.
