What are your thoughts on the LG wash tower? We are looking at appliances for our new build and will have a washer/dryer in our master closet. I am 4’11 and like the idea of the controls in the center to be easier to reach. Any issues or concerns with this unit?

I don’t like it, I love it! Literally had a customer 2 days ago say, “Al I can’t believe how quiet this is compared to my old unit.” I have sold them for about 8 months now and the feedback is terrific. I understand if on the shorter side the controls are so much more convenient in the middle. The one odd thing I found is without the LG APP via wifi you are locked out of some extra cycles. I think LG does this to push the use of the app more. One more thing so many people don’t realize they make the WashTower in the Studio series available at select retailers only. That model is 5.0 vs the 4.5 found at many places and is offered in stainless steel vs black stainless. Either model is good, but just some extra info so you’re prepared, but it’s a good unit to consider.

I plan to get a washtower for our super tiny laundry room. We have to do a bit of remodeling to it first, it needs paint and old metal cabinets removed before ordering these but they look perfect!

What are the drawbacks for a washtower/stackable units as compared to traditional units?  I want to relocate our laundry from the garage to a laundry room inside the house but because there is limited space, I am considering stackable units.

Are these full size units inside?  Able to wash a queen comforter?   We are building a pantry that has space for laundry and debating on this stackable for space reasons as opposed to a set of side by side front loaders with storage under and over.  Anyone with experience with this type of laundry set up please chime in!  TY

I have them. The tubs are very large, maybe the largest I have ever had. I wouldn’t wash a Queen size in it but it sure would fit.

I love it!  I live in a condo and my laundry closet is very limited in space — this is the perfect solution!  Love your commercials too!

I read a comment that you can’t actually dry things on low if you washed them on the normal setting- is that accurate? I typically dry everything I own on low… we are considering this unit as well.

Modern front load washer dryers, including the LG WashTower, are gentler on clothes and clean better than these outdated units do. It also have much more room in the washer and dryer drums, so you can do more laundry at once.
