Built in refrigerators are designed to front vent so no clearance is necessary that is part of what make them built in. They breath from the top panel around the compressor and some units with bottom compressors the lower toe kick area They can be installed completely flush. Always check the install manual as there are a few like Liebherr brand that does want some air clearance but that is the exception.
