HELP!! Is there a way to shorten my Bosch dishwasher by 1/4 of an inch?

      I want to cry! I’ve been waiting for 8 months for this dishwasher with a hold in my  (brand new) kitchen! Contractor had the measurements. Now the appliance company is telling me dishwasher won’t fit. Is there any secret   Panel that is removable that will allow it to squeeze in? (I know I know, wishful thinking!!)

      contractor wants DW delivered before cutting floor out (which I’ve taken into consideration with needing an extra 1/4 of an inch), but appliance store won’t take it back once it’s open.

      so, I’m between a rock and a hard place.!

      Tough one runs into it a lot. No way to go below the lowest leg settings. If the counter is mica, I have had people raise the counter, then set it in and drop it. If a solid surface, it is really tight. The specs don’t lie, and the Bosch is more of a square outer shell by design. If he wants to get a little creative, I looked at a unit here, and the top is pliable metal. I think if the contractor is good and with some ingenuity, they can squeeze it in. I’m praying for you!

      Thank you.  They may sand the countertop edge a bit to fit it in.
