good 30″ gas cooktop- depth?

      Looking for a recommendation for a mid-range 30″ gas cooktop with knobs – I think. I’m only considering doing this instead of a slide-in range to gain storage underneath. Does depth differ with brands/models? My tiny kitchen thanks you.

      Mid range for me is like  a Frigidaire pro or a nice GE but when you say storage underneath then the shallower the better. Many are so deep you loose a drawer or need to start the drawer lower. I’m going to move you to more of a European unit that happens to be at a great price point right now. The Bertazzoni pro 30 is on 2″ under the top so prob hang under the counter maybe an inch. Just plan for a small notch where the gas valve comes in and you will have tons of room for storage.  Retail is at $899 at many stores great buy for such a quality unit.
