So since the question is short, I will assume you mean how do you hook it up? If it’s a gas line, call in a plumber, that would be my best advice. But since I was an installer back in the day. I can give you a quick tutorial.

      1. Shut the gas off at the valve
      2. Disconnect the gas line and remove it from both sides
      3. Install a new gas line when replacing appliance as its the best time to do it and safe
      4. Make sure both fittings on the valve and dryer side have gas approved pipe dope either for lp or nat gas
      5. plug dryer in turn on the gas
      6. spray some soapy water on both ends and looks for leaks (soap will bubble if leaking)
      7. If all is good, make sure the vent hose is connected. Then start her up.

I still always recommend paying the store to do this as to why risk it when dealing with gas, safety is always #1
