Frigidaire ice maker

      Frigidaire ice maker keeps freezing at bottom of tray and won’t dispense. Remove all frozen blocks. Clean thoroughly and it works for a day or two then freezes over again. Unit is about 4 years old and ice maker itself was replaced twice before warranty expired. Wondering if there is a diy diagnosis or fix before calling in a pro since it’s never worked right after the second repair

      Sounds like a temperature issue or a harvest cycle issue. Most icemakers behind the front panel have a timer setting for how long till it harvests (dumps) the ice. Sounds like yours is set too long. I would look at the setting and change it. Small tweaks at a time till it dumps properly.
