Whirlpool cooktop has given me issues since day 1. Store sent out 2 techs who couldn’t reduce flame. KitchenAid asked me to hire my own tech (lack of them in this area) and I would be reimbursed. I submitted the invoice which stated the flame could not be reduced on any of the burners and as the unit was new it should be replaced. Labor and parts would exceed cost. Whirlpool who apparently decides on this looked at his invoice and determined nothing is wrong with the unit. I cannot simmer at all! I have one burner in the far right corner that can simmer out of 5!
