  Al you are the best! Installing Cafe 30” dual fuel double oven in my total remodel. Which 36” chimney hood ss is the better choice? Function / necessary power / hefty solid construction/ looks?

  Or other brand? Balance of kitchen will be all GE Profile french door refrigerator/ dishwasher / built-in microwave are on separate walls. Thanks so much.

  I thank you! I am glad you mentioned the Elica Leone model. While it is a little deep, it’s a really well-made solid hood. It’s slightly noisier than the Best, but I found customers who bought it like the power the lights and the controls. Just make sure not too deep for you. If it is too deep, then the Best. I don’t love that GE for functional reasons.
  Make sure it’s the S2 model as that is the most current.

  Thanks Al. I see Elica model listed is 24” base cab depth. (And BEST model is only 22”d.) When you say Elica may be “too deep for me” are you perhaps suggesting it might be an overkill in my medium + size kitchen with 8’ ceiling. Attached are my kitchen renderings. Hood would be flanked by 21”w uppers. Base: 24” w cabs flank the 30” cafe range. Uppers: are 13”d,. Base: 24” d. Thanks for your guidance
