what’s the best way to clean the fans/filters or maintain over-the-range microwaves?
So, the filters on the bottom of a microwave are grease filters. They’re meant to be changed and not cleaned. The same goes for hoods as well. Unless they are the metal baffle style. Those filters are made to be cleaned with degreasers and will last many years if properly maintained.
