So are you using rinse aid? If so, do you have it cranked up to the highest setting as it must be used? That is #1. #2 I would get a water hardness test kit. If your water is too hard, it will leave mineral deposits that make glasses look cloudy and white. #3 try a tab type of detergent as those tend to break down the best. Almost thinking could be a water hardness issue disguised as soap.
I 100% do. So many brands went away as they opted for more room inside the tub as a visual selling point to the consumers. For me, an agitator may be a little rougher on the clothes, but that’s why it’s called an agitator. You need it to agitate to really push the dirt out of the clothes. After agitator front loaders have the next best washing action. I do like agitators.
So the glass hoods look great, usually when new only. They just are so hard to clean. It’s a battle you will always face. You’re probably better off getting a cabinet above and hanging a microwave above it as it will act as a hood as well and be a real space saver.
It is almost impossible. Some try suction cups, others melt hot glue sticks to them and try to pull them out. It’s very hard to do, but here is a kit sold on amazon.
So there are many choices. I can recommend one, but usually, in these cases, it’s not about price but more of what will fit in that space. Here is one. I use rinse aid even with the tablets because it will dispense at the right time. I set it lower but have found the drying is much better when I use it with the tabs, and I have tried it both ways.
