Two different categories, as LG is focused on the mass market produced items with tons of features average life 8-12 years. Viking makes a streamlined product designed to be more commercial quality and larger sized appliances designed to last a lot longer than LG. They will also give more resale value to a property.

Heat up a bowl of water for 2-3 minutes and let the steam go to work, then use a plastic scraper and a sponge immediately after. It shouldn’t crack, but if plastic and the vent isn’t used all the time, the excess heat could break down the plastic over the years and make it brittle. Try to run the fan whenever cooking below.

Sounds to me the drain hose is clogged, not allowing the dirty water to leave the machine. It could be a bad pump as well. I would try to drain it into a raised bucket. To determine the flow of the water. See if it’s the machine or a clogged drain.

It’s not the best for it as it can scratch it. I have found ceramabryte and a razor works the best! it is formulated for glass tops and comes with approved cleaning pads.

As long as you have gas in the house and a qualified plumber to run the line. It’s not hard, but it can be quite expensive. You also need to downgrade the electricity to 110volts as electric uses 220 to power it. Many people do convert, but it’s usually an expensive undertaking. Besides, just buying a new stove. Some towns require you to get a permit. Then a pressure test as well, so keep that in mind.
