It is true, appliances today are really advanced with things like Wi-Fi built-in. The issue is it’s an old mechanical timer vs. a computer board. The mechanical timers seemed to have lasted longer. So, new models have more features, look nicer, cook, and cool better. But all that technology seems to break down more often. Sometimes simple is better!

Cloudy glasses are an indicator of hard water. Try a water softener if your model has one built-in. If it does not have a built-in water softener, try to put one on the waterline. Also, make sure you are using a rinse aid. As an aid will help a little, but mineral deposits from hard water generally leave glasses cloudy.

So it is model-dependent. Almost all LG appliances are made in South Korea. They do have a few plants in Mexico, and now plants in the U.S. are manufacturing laundry for them. They are building a massive plant in Tennessee and will be producing appliances here very soon.

I have found the Liebherr brand to be very quiet in the mid to higher-end tier. The Linear compressor models from LG are very quiet and are at a better price point.

75% is maximum and 25% minimum. You can have a cooling issue just as much under-packed as over-packed. Make sure the vents that force the air into the cavity are not blocked. As that is usually the cause of many service calls.

The Bosch 800 or a KitchenAid 604 or higher are both excellent workhorses. If you need to kick it up a notch in the budget department. Look at the high-end Miele dishwasher. They are premium dishwashing at a premium price.
