The unit is a diff cutout slightly now so the old trim will not work. I had a few customers try it and they ended up getting new kits.
I dont see them as an authorized dealers and I dont like websites with no physical presence so I would shop elsewhere. They look like a drop ship style company so that would limit your service.
Speed Queen seems to be the best for longevity but I like the LG for the capacity!

Its based on personal use but end of day for me speed queen is a more robust higher quality unit but this GE is just a great space saver!
you are correct on all counts! the heat pump works extremely well and very efficient .
So its dead? because the master power switch is inside the door so you shouldn’t need access to the power cord. You can always reset from the breaker.
