That’s a well-known design flaw in those they have an issue if icemakers that freeze over so when it thaws out when it’s cycling, it can drop some water with the ice. Samsung claims they have a fix, but people all over the internet are just so frustrated here.

Nothing in gas is that easy to clean. But I can tell you many of the ranges went to a porcelain top. The porcelain vs. stainless is easier to clean. I have used both, and the stainless can scratch and discolor with heat. For me, porcelain is the best.

It is 100% not discontinued, I sell these a lot. The problem is the back-order situation. Sometimes they call it a “pause” in production. Induction has been very hard to get. Couple that with wanting it in white, and it’s even longer. I am told 3rd quarter of 2022, the supply of these will be much better. So if not in a rush, give your business to the guy who said back-ordered. The other dealer prob just figured saying discoed was easier. If you order, you will eventually get it.
