Will Gas Appliances Ever Be Phased Out?

      When do you think gas powered appliances will start getting phased out of production?

      Already happening as I type. California just passed a law and NY is next to follow for new construction. I don’t think production will ever end as they cant stop everyone since many are grandfathered in but it will affect new builds going forward. Only a few cities so far.

      Good. Maybe if the Federal Govt offers generous rebates to folks who trade in their fossil fuel-based appliances for new electric units, the transition will be a lot faster.
