Which is more energy efficient – gas or electric?

      In the market for a new stove and wondering: Which is more energy efficient – gas or electric?

      Induction cooking will be the most efficient followed by LP gas Natural gas then electric. Generally gas is the most efficient but with the new induction cooktops they use very little energy to heat up. Oven gas still has the advantage.
