What’s the best stovetop?

      Hi Al,

      We are trying to decide between an electric or gas stovetop? Are there more pros/cons for each? A gas stovetop scares me a bit but it seems electric stovetops are prone to scratching? Any stovetops you recommend that are anti-scratch?

      If not careful most electric tops can and will scratch. But an electric induction cooktop is one of the best methods to cook by far. Gas is nice when you get into the more powerful range top types, but the induction is so quick to heat up and efficient it is prob the best choice.
