washing machine filter location

      Do older Kenmore washers have a filter that would catch buttons or coins when water drains out?

      If a front loader, it depends on the model. If manufactured by LG or Samsung, it will be in the lower front, behind the trap door. If manufactured for them by Whirlpool or Electrolux, it is by the pump behind the front panel, so not as accessible.
