      Hi Al,

      Sorry I’m back with more questions!!! I am still trying to find the right appliances for my kitchen. I love the look of the ILVE but the wait time is so long!

      What do you think of:

      – Hallman: is this worth the price tag?

      – Thor: great prices, are they going to last??

      – Cafe White Matte: I had never heard of this brand until recently. They are $$, worth the price?

      Hallman is made by the Ilve company, that is why they look alike. I do not like them a store just went to the factory and produced a range with a private label. So many people on our Facebook forum complained they can’t get any service or parts for their Hallman. It’s a looker, not a cooker! Thor is lower end, Zline is decent. Cafe is General Electric, it is based on the Profile chassis and is the best option here. Very hard to get but good reliable GE service and parts to ensure great use for many years. Look at Bertazzoni as well they make some cool, colorful ranges that will hold up!
