New dishwasher in old cabinets

      We cut out existing cabinets in our kitchen to make room for a new dishwasher to be installed.

      We see the mounting brackets on the new dishwasher, but we are a little confused on how to use those mounting brackets to secure the dishwasher. Thank you for your help!

      It depends on the model dishwasher most today have metal brackets that can be installed at the top of the unit but with a solid surface countertop it makes it harder so many opt to use the same brackets on the side mount option and screw it to the wood cabinet  this is usually the easiest and preferred option.
