Is it worth it to repair my dishwasher?

      Why are replacement racks for the dishwasher so expensive? A lot of the prongs on bottom rack have broken off but dishwasher still works, is there any suggestions? At $150.00 for a new rack, we might as well buy a new one, but don’t want to because it still works!

      It’s crazy, but you’re correct. The parts are absurdly expensive to replace. A control board costs more than the unit itself many times. I feel your pain but try to look for a generic version. Amazon sells a few.
