Handles not staying on an issue with all brands or just GE?

      Hi. I bought a GE Cafe refrigerator this summer, and all four handles came off at different times. There were other things wrong with it as well. We got a new one delivered a week or two ago – and guess what? The left large handle came off in my hands two days later.

      The screws were too short. Is this a thing industry wide? It’s crazy to me. Thanks.

      I have heard of this before it is a poor design but the trick i have found if the slide type of handle is to use a rubber mallet to pound them on there good and be aware to try and pull out towards you as time pulling on an angle could cause it to slide of the pin holding it. A good whack with the mallet should lock it in well. Bad overall design.
