This unit appears to be based on their GFW5500SSNWW front load.  Both have the Sanitize with Oxi cycle an I’m assuming there is no onboar heater to heat or maintain wash wateer temperature.  I understand why they did it this way to not lengthen the cycle any longer.  But it’s a huge disappointment to me.  Of the 3 front loaders I’ve had, one (Frigidaire) did not have anonboard heater.  I’ll never own another front laoder without onboard heater.  I like true hot and warm water washes, not dumbed down EPA mandated wash temperatures.  Pass on to GE I hope they will eventually offer a 2nd model with onboard heater to heater wash water.  I’m looking forward to heat pump dryers becoming main-stream.  If GE an incorporate their heat pump dryer technology into a full size dryer they will have a kick-ass product.
