So almost every stove is factory natural gas out of the box, and many are field convertible. This means either an LP kit is included or sold separately. The kit will convert the orifices on the top and the bake and broil over to propane gas. Some of the higher-end brands like Wolf, for instance, will sell their stoves out of the factory designated for propane or natural. If you need a stove, say propane now, then natural down the road, just make sure to save the conversion parts. I will suggest always using a licensed plumber or store installer who is familiar with the conversion process. One misadjustment and the flames will be out of whack, causing soot to form on the pots or in the oven, so always use a professional when dealing with gas.
