      Hi there! I’m looking for recommendations for a garage refrigerator that will operate year round – including winters in Pennsylvania. Or, is there a way to retrofit a old refrigerator to keep running in the winter? Ours shuts off in the winter because of the cold temperature. Thank you!

      Great question, so there are specific fridge’s made for the garage where the thermostat is either heated or separate from the fridge and freezer, so one doesn’t shut the other off. GE makes a very good one that is garage approved. Hard to retrofit an older one unless it is a Frigidaire top freezer they are one of the few that make a kit.
