If you want the best advice, don’t buy them one. I know that sounds crazy but as tech-savvy as I am. I used mine for 3 months then gave up because it barely cleaned was more of a pain than it was worth. Half the time you spent resetting it and cleaning out the rollers. If they have pets, it gets even worse. They will just be calling you every day asking to work it. If you insist! The one I would get is the Roomba. The Irobot is good for the price, but the Roomba seems the most intuitive.
