My current dryer’s days are numbered and with the supply chain issues, I’m looking for some recommendations before it dies. I’m looking for something 28″ wide or less, and very reliable, like something a repairman would recommend. I don’t need anything fancy, in my mind that just gives me more things that could break down. I don’t want to pay more for more features but I will pay more for good quality. I don’t trust Samsung or LG appliances so will stay away from those.

Repairmen love Speed Queen as it is easy to work on and very limited features. Very Heavy duty, the issue is it is expensive. But you pay for what you get. I will move from that for cost and tell you to buy a nice GE non-Profile with just knob controls. Simple is better here. It will cost less to purchase and maintain!

Thank you for the recommendation. I’m in Canada & can’t find any Speed Queen retailers near me, but will definitely check out the GE. Is there an electric version as well?
