Are Dacor Appliances Quality?

      I read that Samsung bought Dacor. Are Dacor appliances still reliable or should we stay away?

      That is correct, so it depends on the models. The larger pro-style Dacor appliances are great, like a pro range or column fridge. When you get to the dishwashers, wall ovens, and counter-depth fridges. I would stay away as they are just low-end Samsung products re-badged.

        Sorry to question on an older thread, but I am considering a 42″ 4 door Dacor built-in and I wanted your opinion. I know that everyone says avoid Samsung but I recently read an article that said “Though purchased by Samsung in 2016, Dacor still operates out of its California office and the majority of their products continue to be manufactured right here in the USA. ” I have a very narrow window for choices – 42″ space for built-in fridge.

        Dacor built in refrigerators are built on their own platform and I think good quality overall, the DW ovens and cooktop are just ok but the fridges I dont have an  issue with.
