I sell many appliances on Long Island to a place called “Oak Island.” They use solar panels mostly as there is no electricity there. I can tell you what we run into is the efficiency rating, so we look at amp draw and EER ratings.
Most often, the stove is LP, as is the dryer. So the fridge is the big issue. We use a brand called Summit a lot, and the Frigidaire energy-rated 15 cubic foot fridge has a real low energy draw. End of the day, look for the lowest amp draw.

Solar panels can power a variety of appliances, including refrigerators, lighting, and air conditioners. To ensure compatibility, choose appliances with low power consumption and size the solar panel system appropriately. Check out Caravan RV Camping’s best solar panel selection for camping.
