Artificial intelligence is making huge strides and impacting our daily lives. Today, I’m going to talk about how AI is affecting the Appliance Industry.
GE recently announced that their SmartHQ app will be using AI technology. They partnered with Google AI to give SmartHQ two new powerful features that are sure to change the way you use your appliances, especially in the kitchen. Are you sick of figuring out what to make for dinner tonight? I am for that matter, although my wife usually is the one in the kitchen prepping our family meals. With this new update, called Flavorly™ AI, the app will give you suggestions to cook based on your available ingredients. In addition, for those who don’t have a smart appliance yet, you’ll be glad to hear that it isn’t necessary to use this new feature.
Another cool feature that the SmartHQ offers is the SmartHQ Assistant function. Have a question about the use and care of your connected appliances? Ask away and get quick answers directly from the owner’s manual. No more need to save those bulky manuals that are taking up space in your home!
