Fisher Paykel Hybrid Range: Al’s New Product Alert
Fisher Paykel’s 48” Dual Fuel Hybrid Range
Here is one of the most unique ranges on the market that helps answer one burning question. Do you want gas or induction for your next range?
Trust me, I get this question a lot and it is a real head-scratcher for a lot of us! Whether it’s a cookware issue or a reluctance to try something new, everyone has their reasons for wanting an induction or gas cooking surface. But, that raises one further question for those of us who want it all.
Why not both?!
This range is half gas, half induction, and all quality!
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s Fisher and Paykel‘s new hybrid 48” range model RHV3484! This new stove from leading appliance manufacturer Fisher and Paykel has it all.
For starters, let’s call out the obvious unique feature of this model. Did you notice the 4 gas burners with the 4 induction zones? Pretty awesome if you ask me!
This is a first of its kind. Offering the benefits of both gas versatility and the speed and efficiency of induction all on the same unit. The range features a 4 burner high powered gas cooktop, 4 burner induction cooktop, and two large self-cleaning electric ovens. The flexibility of this range is unlike any other! Save your favorite non-induction pan or just different fuels for different recipes! Use the flame to roast a pepper while the rest of the meal is safely on the induction surface. The choice is yours! You can do it all on this range.
The Fisher and Paykel‘s new hybrid 48” range RHV3484 really brings the high quality of the Fisher and Paykel platform with a new dimension to its flexibility. Sometimes we see innovative ideas like this from the smaller players and the less quality-oriented brands, but not here! That’s one reason this range is so appealing, a case of quality and craftsmanship meets something new to the market.
The touch panel has intuitive controls and too many cooking modes to list!
A favorite of mine is the guided recipe center. Never cooked a scotch roast before? Never heard of it like me? From taking the cut of beef out of the refrigerator to giving you the ingredients list the auto system has you covered! Are you the kind of cook who is scared of setting their oven/cooktop to the wrong temperature? The auto position of the dials will take care of that!
While the cooktop is the most unique part of this range, the control panel and dials are a point of focus too. The dials are all back-illuminated and will change color from white to red when in use, and the control panel will swivel out and make for an easier reading angle!
If you’re like me and have memories of running around your kitchen going between a cookbook and your cooktop this panel can really make a difference! With the instructions on the panel at a more manageable level following along will be a breeze!
With a combined oven total of 6.9 cubic feet, there is ample space for a 32 lb. turkey with plenty of sides to go around as well!
The styling is super clean and sleek, yet professional looking at the same time. I really like the bold step this company took by offering two unique cooking options, it was a leap of faith for a limited market but definitely a piece to look into.
