Run a cycle or two of bleach for the tub and inner boots. Run Affresh washer cleaning every other week and wipe the door gasket with Clorox a few times. The mildew generally will collect on the rubber components. Weekly or bi-monthly maintenance will go a long way in keeping the washer fresh and smelling good for many years.
